Canada and COVID 19 Virus
Canada has a population of 36.6 Million. Out of which 14.7 million live in Ontario province. The number of COVID 19 cases reported in Canada is about 534K, and deaths are 14.7 (2,7%)K The highest in Quebec and second highest in Ontario. Comparatively, Canada is doing much better than the US because the provincial government coordinates with the Federal government and takes action to prevent the virus from being spread and keep it under control
Canada is a multi-ethnic country. A good percentage of people do not speak
English or French. Hence health ministry directives have to be in many
languages to reach the people. CIVID Virus has affected the country's economy
and social behavior Increased
unemployment and reduced traffic in 401,
407, and 400. It decreased noise level and air pollution.
COVID-19 is a severe health threat, and the situation is evolving daily. The risk varies between communities, but Canadians' chance is surging given the
number of cases in Canada.
We continue to reassess the public health risk based on the best
available evidence as the situation evolves.
