Impact of COVID 19  on Economy Politics Culture.

The present world the population is estimated to be 7.8 Billion. The world population faced many viruses in many centuries before B.C. and after B.C.

 The 1918 influenza pandemic was the most severe in recent history. An H1N1 virus caused it with genes of avian origin. No universal consensus regarding where the Virus originated; it spread worldwide from 1918-1919. Prehistoric epidemic: Circa 3000 B.C Plague of Athens: 430 B.C.

 

 COVID‐19 can affect the upper respiratory tract (sinuses, nose, and throat), and the Eighteen fifteen countries are affected by COVID out od which 2.2 % died   70% recovered   Many prominent VIPS killed because, by the  Virus, U.K. Prime minister recovered. It was a leading Tamil Nadu A musician who died. Let us look into the impact of viruses on the Economy. Culture, politics, etc 

The Black Death that spread during the 14^th century A.D. hit Europe, and many millions died. Some of the viruses controlled the growing population and affected the growth of many developing m countries. History says that many viruses were born in China, the country that has the largest community. India is the second-largest population country. Indian ayurvedic doctors believe there is a Vedic herbal treatment for Virus. This is not medically proved in the western world.  Chinese have peculiar eating habits by eating bats, frogs, snakes, etc.

 

 COVID 19 was born in China in a  research lab located in Wuhan province. The Lab is situated near the Seafood and Meat market, which lead o the speculation that it originated from Bat. Later one of th Research scientists in an interview mentioned that the Virus leaked from th Lab. Many questions arose about whether China is preparing the COVID Virisus as a Biological weapon to economically invade the growing western world, such as the USA, and economically invade developing countries. This criticism is still under dispute as the USA President called the Virus as China Virus, a slap on China's face. WHO called it COVID19. The conflict between the U.S. President and the WHO escalated. Donald Trump,  US President, had denounced the U.S.' contribution to the WHO -- $400-500 million -- compared to China's and consistently accused the organization of aiding China in allegedly covering up the origins of the Virus and allowing its spread.

 

In August 2019, the COVID 19 virus rapidly sored and impacted many country's Politics. The Economy Health sector and Business sector, in the countries and its people in many ways. Unseen Virus spreads attacking bodies that are weak, mainly seniors. It spreads like a tidal wave.  Tourists. Foreign worker's business travelers are carriers of the Virus in many countries. People in backward countries were not aware of the latest preventive measures such as wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands frequently,  Swab testing introduced by many countries. In some countries, people think that only highway robbers wear masks. In Japan, it is in their culture to wear marks. Procedures such as wearing masks, washing hands and legs, and using disinfectant turmeric liquid keeping social distance are new in the cultures in many countries.

 

In Southern India, they spread the smoke of sambirani daily in that home, Tueremeric water as they purify the air and removes moisture. and kills virus The smoke is also known to be an excellent cure for respiratory ailments. It also has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Many ignorant people in underdeveloped countries violate the rule of social distancing.  When they see a  relation or a friend, they hug each other.  In Muslim countries such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, it is a  common mulsim culture when they have get-together they touch their noses or embrace each other.  In some countries, People thought that Highway robbers only wear masks. Some in countries where there is a shortage of water avoid washing hands and legs in Italy where people are mostly Catholics who are habitually hugging after returning from church on Sunday. The Virus grew very fast in Itlay.  Although the USA is a two-border country, it failed to control the Virus because the Americans were unable to change their life method. They are more concerned with their business and free moving. Interstate was not restricted. Canada closed the U.S. border, and it helped Canada from the spread of the Virus.

 Working from home was not forced in U.S.the President played politics with COVID Virus to win the  November Presidential elections. He interfered with the management of states in controlling the Virus.

On the Political side on the island of Sri Lanka, which has no borders,  prompt action such as closing Airports was not taken to ensure to8rists do not bring COVID 19 to the island. The Virus's first case was confirmed in Sri Lanka on 27 January 2020, after a 44-year-old Chinese woman from Hubei Province. She was admitted to the National Institute of Infection Diseases.  There are many Chinese working on Chinese projects in Sri Lanka.  Chinese come from China in large number to work in Sri Lanka- Chinese projects   This is one of the strategies adopted by Chna export their labor. They invest and get back more than what they invest. Curfew were imposed district wise to strict the movement of people. Isolation of the returnees from abroad caused problems. More defense personnel fell victims to the Virus.  The distribution of free goods free got linked with politics. The politicians used the Virus as a political weapon in Parliamentary elections. 

In Sri, Lanka the Military was used to controlling the Virus by appointing governors by the President, an ex-military person.  The health sector was consulted but could not take an active part in decision making. The family political dynasty pushed China to help overcome  COVID 19. China gave support financially to reduce the Virus to get projects and build a good relationship with the island. When the country faced elections, Good 19 became is an issue for fixing th election day countries, especially the USA and COVID 19. The island has limited economic investments. Foreign investors were reduced. 

Due to the Virus, the State admin system got affected as it is not fully digitalized. Hotel, Business, Local travel, and Airline industries were affected. The island's economy is in a downward trend.  COL is increasing. People are getting used to wearing masks, but get-togethers are still going on, and temple festivals continue in the country. The county depends financially and health products, medicine, etc., from the western world. H.R. violations prevent many countries and expatriate populations from helping Sri Lanka. In all these complications, the family dynasty grabbed more power by amending the constitution and killing democracy.

 VOVOID 19 is used to take p[olitical revere on the minority community. The bodies of Muslims who died of Covad and cremated which against tier religious traditions.

 

The island should have closed the airports and blocked the foreign tourists from entering the county when the government knew the Virus has infiltrated Sri Lanka. They are used to the traditional behavior, hugging, and avoiding social sentencing, which is a challenge to people as they have difficulty to speak.

 Testing for COVD 19  is not available in all hospitals. A two weeks simulation of people who arrived from abroad created further issues.

 

Economy-wise, Sri Lanka and many countries depend on Tourists of the labor force working abroad, mainly in the Middle East. They are carriers of the disease. Restriction on foreign visitors had an ad spiral effect on the Economic Atliane industry, Hotel and entertainment industry restaurants. Many were thrown out of employment; driving regulation was introduced as far as possible working from was introduced. Many government staff does not have expensive computer knoIT knowledge eds people start working from home. It is a new Business method and saves costs by using from home Digiat technology such as Zoom meeting Teleconferencing. Email etc., are techniques staff working from home should know. Many small businesses are closed, and unemployment increased. Buying grocery items and going to refreshments ad having arty had restrictions, and it affected business.

 

Although some countries say they found the medicine to cure the Virus spreading but not confirmed by WHO.  India's ayurvedic medicine is bing tried with less success. His health organization was subject to criticism for favoring Cina. 

 

There view in many countries that China started this Virus to target the Economy of developing countries. They offered Loans at low interest and target projects. Many countries with poor Economies fell prey to that Chinese strategy.

 

The old Tamil culture is washing hands before eating, washing legs before entering home and showing antibiotic smoke, and spraying  Tamarind water is a method that exists for a long time. In front of the house, the herbal tree tulsi has grown a disinfectant. The Kolam pattern is drawn in the house's front to prevent Virus from getting into the house; the housewife shows Saambirani smoke to kill viruses. The housewife  daily spring Tamarind  water to destroy the spread of the Virus  Westen world too started copying the Tamil methods  by welcoming by holding the two palms  together without shaking hands.  

 

COVID 19 takes avatars and spreads it affects seniors who have less  immunity  so says the number of deaths in home cares

 

Avoid Virus's action to reduce the growing population, keep control of natural resources, not get depleted, and avoid air pollution by reducing motor traffic. The road traffic reduction resulted in the Ozon layer is being covered. People stopped inhaling polluted air  Education of children and youth is affected, but universities sconce holding online classes. There is a reduction in the cost of University education. The student does not pay for residences

In short, COVID 19 brought many changes in th habits, Economy. Employment  Attitude, Culture, Political thoughts, and Business approach. It may take many years to beat the Virus as it will continue to come in stages until a suitable medicine is found to fight Covid  Virus. Many millions are spent on medical research find th drug Bill Gates Micro-soft founder, predicted the Virus invading the world many years ago, has contributed millions to the research foundation.
